Two Houses Burnt in Pulogadung

Two houses at dense population area on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, RT 03/02, Pulogadung, East Jakarta burnt at 9 AM.
No victim during the incident
Pulogadung Sub-district's Fire Handling and Rescue's Fire Handling and Rescue Sector Head, Edi Parwoko, said the fire was first discovered by Wati, a resident of the house, who smelled a burning smell from inside her room.
Fire Occurred at Centra Cakung Apartment"The room was empty. There was a fire after being checked. It is suspected that the fire was caused by a short circuit from the fan," he said, Thursday (8/29).
Edi added that his side deployed 10 firetrucks with 40 personnel. The fire then was fully extinguished at 10 PM.
"No victim during the incident," he added.
Pulogadung Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Erwin, explained those two burnt houses were owned by Sukron (28) and Wati (51). Both were already moved to neighbor houses.
"We deployed 12 PPSU personnel to assist the fire handling personnel," he stated.
